How to create lens profiles ourselves?
-
You can save it as a User Preset.
Click the preset icon, to the top right in the lens correction panel (small stack of three horizontal bars).
Sorry, not aware of any profiler for C1.0 -
I asked Capture One team recently in a "Request" about the lens profiles as well. Several of my lenses are not provided, and I mentioned the tool which Adobe once provided to make lens profiles at home. (They removed the tool recently, though, motivation for that is unknown to me and I do not want to start here yet another speculation about Adobe and their conduct.)
I understand that Capture One is a smaller team, and that they come from the perspective of the extreme top-level equipment and clientele. With spreading usage toward prosumers, hobbyists such as causal travel photographers, large amount of "lesser equipment" or older equipment shows up in the C1 catalogs, and a user based "crowd making" of lens profiles would be surely a great idea for all of us. For example, for Lightroom I made a profile for the old Nikkor 35-70 f/2.8 D, which I love to use to this day, mostly for a reason of nostalgia.
