can't open catalogue in CO20.2

running  10.15.5 on Mac, just upgraded to CO 20.2, when it launched it opened my most current catalogue but when I try to open another catalogue it says

Ive gone to info, and changed the default application 

but still no joy

    Delete writelock file in the catalog, and please try again.
