CO 13.1 - Hardware acceleration used by the wrong GPU
Hi,
I have a laptop with 2 GPU. First: Intel GPU, Second: Nividia MX150.
All drivers are upgraded.
With C1 release 13.1, the software use the IntelGPU
I cannot switch to the MX150 GPU. I forced this graphic card using the Nvidia control panel but it doesn't work better.
I have deleted the Core Files stored in the new folder. So, at start, Capture One rebuilt acceleration file.
During these minutes, nVidia card is used (not very much). After building the core fils, Capture One use the IntelGPU files.
How can i do use OpenCL with the right video card ?
Thanks,

I had the same issue, but only with Windows 10, 2004. I had to roll back to 1909. With 1909 no issues. I have Gtx 1070 and Intel uhd 630.

In windows 10 - 2004 you can select GPU for application in control panel in Graphics settings - you can add your application and change card that fits you needs - look -> https://pureinfotech.com/set-gpu-app-windows-10/

@Damian. Il have Windows 10 2004 too.
@Tomasz: i'll try. Thanks.0 -
Usually I change the grafic card in nvidia control panel, why this doesn't work in 2004? Is this obsolete in 2004 or is something wrong with CO or Nvidia driver? I'm confused a little bit....

@Damian - For me selecting GPU using Nvidia tools don't work any more - it looks that this is now managed by windows - and set in control panel - I found this during investigation of if other software (Chrome)

Ok, good to know, never seen this published in press or in web articles

@Tomasz : I was able to change my GPU in windows control panel :-)
Thanks a lot.
I've added CaptureProcess and ImgCoreProcess with the same settings. They seem to be used by Capture One. See my screenshot.
What are the best settings in Nvidia's control panel for best performances ?
Thanks Damian and Tomasz (!) for your great help.

I believe problem outside GPU and OS, I have same problem on MBP 2018. Disabling HWA only thing that make C1 barely alive. Hardly I see myself again purchasing this soft

Alex,
I do not think you can compare Windows and Mac directly when discussing how Operating system changes can affect how GPU support is implement in any software.
Mac in a closed system.
Windows is open to external influences.
