Forcing a preview refresh
So, I'm going through some 20 years of digital imagery, doing a bit of culling, post processing and then publishing to Google Photos for my family to peruse.
I've got a number of NEF from a Nikon D-200 that have been corrupted somehow and show up in C1 with very brightly colored stripes. Opening the NEF's in Capture NX2, they read in correctly, but when saved create the stripe, so there is obviously some issue.
I've downloaded my backups to these files, which are some years old and they don't see to exhibit the behavior. I've replaced all the images in the folder with the corrupt files.
I cannot seem to make C1v12 completely refresh the preview.
Is there a way to do t his without changing the name of the folder and then reimporting?
Thanks

In the menu there is a function "regenerate preview" or similar. F5 in the Windows (!) version. Select the concerned images in the c1 browser and press that key.
Or, you could just delete the respective preview files in the "Cache" folder, I think the file extension is .cop. They should be regenerated the next time.
Please note that C1 is very picky with altered raw files. Doing and saving any adjustments in the Nikon software can lead to unexpected results in C1. I experienced this myself with D7100 files, if I remember right they could not even be imported in C1 version 8.
