Are you sure it is not in the WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color folder?

Photoshop installs it there as an .icm file.

Some other editors might install it there too but as ROMM RGB (ISO22028-2_ROMM-RGB), at least according to Wikipedia.

    Hi gb,

it is there as I daily use it when editing in Photoshop; however, when I instruct Capture One to edit the pic in Photoshop I get asked which gamut I wish to use and Prophoto RGB is not on the list..

    thanks

    Weird.
Check in Explorer that it does not have an icc extension.
C1 seems to see only icm extensions.

    Problem solved.

it wasn't in the folder ..\spool\drivers\color but I found it on my laptop and after copying it, it worked as a charm

thanks a bunch for providing the right path

    Hi Carlos.

can you provide the steps needed to edit in pro photo color space.  I am seriously considering switching from LR, but not until I know I can edit and process in Pro Photo

    Many thanks

If you have ProPhoto on your computer
    (WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color)
it's just a simple menu selection in C1 to work with it.
Menu - View - Proof File - ProPhotoRGB

    @Carlos Rojas Palma

I agree about the User Name but I have come to the conclusion that this is a problem of the forum registration system when a new user account is created rather than something the user has knowingly done themselves.

It seems to self correct (or is corrected by someone) after a few uses or a few days - in most cases.

Of course one will never know which accounts have been correct and when.
