Allow viewer/browser to show photos in sub-folders when selecting the parent folder
ImplementedIn my example below, if I select either 09 - Sep or 10 - Oct then the browser/viewer will show the photos in the selected folder, it would be good if when I selected the parent, i.e. 2002 Photos it showed all the photos from the included sub-folders (in this case 09... and 10...).
Additionally if the total count of photos could be added to the parent as well, this would also be an improvement.

This has been suggested numerous times, yet was never implemented, so you probably need to manage your expectations.
If the feature is implemented some day, I'd suggest it should be optional, i.e., it should be possible to mark each folder to either include subfolder contents or not (w.r.t. to image display and count). There could be, for instance, a tickable item in the (right-click) context menu that reads "Include subfolders").0 -
Hi Cliff,
Thank you for this post.
Indeed, we have got a bunch of similar requests to display the photos in subfolders when clicking on a parent folder.
Thus, I will take your suggestion regarding this option on board as well.

Hi,
why is it so hard to implement this feature in CaptureOne? I also thinking about using it as my main program instead of Lightroom, but this feature is mandatory in my view.
Can you say anything about the progress of this topic?
Best regards

I'm with Frank: Can we get an update on this?
