4.5 keeps crashing when applying settings
I've been trying 4.5 for a few days now and getting VERY frustrated at how many times the program crashes.
Seems to be when applying changes to more than one image. I tend to apply from 2-20 images at a time. About every 4-5 goes get an error message
"CaptureOne has encountered an error and needs to close" - no other information is provided.
Am running Windows XP with SP3
This is starting to make it unusable. I never had this problem with 4.2. I could get it to crash if applying changes to a large number of images >200.

I can't say it happens every time for me, but I have experienced it. It seems to happen more frequently copying white balance or other color settings over to more than one image. I have copied over other setting to dozens or even hundreds of images with no problems at all.

I also tried to log a ticket with support but the website keeps saying "error - An administrator has been notified" after you've filled some of the details in.

I'm on XP as well and CO4 is a crashing beast. At least *30 times* today. Always related to syncing settings.
This is an incredibly frustrating program. CO4 PRO has the best image quality I have ever seen. It's truly amazing, a big step up from v3. And yet at every turn the app comes up with a new way to clog my workflow or stop me from using it altogether.
How can something so good be so bad?0 -
It would be nice to have some input from Phase One this - otherwise this will turn into a self help group. 🤓 🤓

To be fair, regarding the self-help, this is the "Phase One Official User to User Forum." Phase One representatives do stop by to help, but if you having technical issues it is probably best to open a support case where a technician can get specific data. 0 -
christopher - If you look at my posts you'll see that I did try and raise a ticket but their website doesn't work - it keeps giving an error.
All we seem to have left is to bitch about it with each other or look elsewhere. I've been a loyal C1 user for about 5 years but the latter is starting to look attractive.
I really like the program when it works and the output images are great but 4.5 is just a pain in the ass for crashing SO regularly.0 -
just tried again to log a support ticket an get. This is just after you have put in the os and version info before you can actually put in any details.
"Error !
