Click on the Recipe name box. You should then be able to edit the name.

If not something odd is happening.

You should also be able to duplicate recipes which may save you some work.

Title line of the tool - 3 dots next to the "?". Click and enjoy.

There's a lot available to customise in C1. It's mostly simpler than it at first looks IF you break it down into small parts and then build your own understanding. Plus watch the tutorials and other videos. They are always good for a few tips and ideas.

Thanks for your help, Grant, It's really appreciated. It's about 5 years since I used C1 Pro regularly & it's changed a lot since then!

With some trial and error, it seems that to rename the recipe you need to click on its name and ... wait a bit. Then the name becomes editable.

This is totally unlike any Windowing GUI I've used in the last 20 years, and is definitely not intuitive. On any 'normal' GUI you can click (or double-click) on a field and it's instantly selected for editing.

I don't know if this non-standard behaviour is down to someone in PhaseOne trying to do something clever/different from everybody else, or a strange artefact of the Windows version. But it's both unexpected and annoying!

    Regards,

    Alan

    Hi Alan,

    Sounds strange.

On my system it is consistently instant. (In GUI terms)

If it is not so instant on your system I can understand the confusion.

If I were you I would be seriously inclined to create a Support Case and see what the Phase folk could suggest since I think it is outside the normal user experience.
