    Hi Allan
As yet its not possible to tether a D3x to C1 v4.6 (or v4.6.1)
A work-around would be to capture using Nikon's camera control software and then set the incoming folder as a watch folder using v4..
It is possible to view and edit Nikon D3x files using 4.6 and the quality and control with processing is very good.
The Nikon D3 can be tethered, it can't be long before we can plug in our D3x camera's !
    Cheers Andy

Thanks for your answer Andy. How do you set an incoming folder to be a watch folder using V4?

    Hi Allan
Sorry for the delay in replying to your question.
If you create an incoming folder for the D3x files then root through to this folder under session folders. Capture 4.6 should then display an new shots as they hit the incoming folder. I think you might need to "enable hot folder" under "Camera".
HTH, I use this method but I shoot with my wireless WT-4 but I think the settings are the same. If I've got anything wrong I'm sure another user will correct my errors !!
    Cheers Andy
