7.01 OK but 7.02 and 7.1 Crash, OpenCL disabled

Was testing V7 and even got a new 64-bit system to go using built in Intel 4000 graphic chip, and just as I was to upgrade from v6, the new 7.02 came out, and I get a hard crash at start up, not even splash screen. Now disabling the OpenCL with reg-script, as I cannot access the settings with-in progarm as it never starts! New 7.1 shows the same behavour, hard crash at start-up!

Reverting back to 7.01 seems to work.
Have been manually cleaning register and re-installed all versions, still only 7.01 works.

Any hints on what can be wrong? Really need this to be sorted out before pay for upgrade.

    This happened to me too!

    Go to c: --> Users--> (your windows login username) --> AppData --> Local --> Phase_One --> CaptureOne.exe_StrongNamexxxxxxxxxxx

    Move (don't copy) everything there is in this folder away to a new folder for backup.

    Try and restart Capture One.

    This did the trick! Guess I can buy the V7 finally 😄

    BTW I can run with OpenCL enabled too! This with Intel HD4000 graphics in 2560x1440
