Please follow up through your support case. The description suggests the issue is related to something outside of the software alone.

I logged it last night. Why can't Phase release an update without any adding new problems in Capture One 7 Pro??

Anyone else encountered this problem in version 7.1.1?

    Rave,

I have seen mixed results over a wide range of computers and cameras.

The top two things that people seem to ignore, not want to do, etc are a clean install of C1Pro and a fresh OS on the computer. Yeah, this takes time and when you are on set and the computer/software goes FUBAR, it's not an ideal time to reinstall software or OS, it has been the single best solve for me.

    Good Luck.

First of all any software/company that even suggests that I re-install the OS on my computer because of their buggy software would be taken off, never to be installed again, and I would FLAME the company from one end of the internet to the other. It would take me DAYS to re-install my computer with all the programs and Data that are on it. If PhaseOne asked me to do that, I would say where do I send the bill for the down time you are asking to have and I would immediately ask for a refund.

Sorry. I really like CO7 and 7.1.1 and has been working mostly ok. (It does seem to be getting slower with each point release). The 7.0 release had so many problems, in my opinion should have never been released, or had a large BETA flag on it. I had nothing but problems/crashes with CO7.0. They finally tracked it down where the preferences even though have OpenCL set to never still turned on OpenCL. Which I do not understand why they to this day do not seem to have OpenCL working on graphics cards that should not have any issue using them. It seems to me that non of the other programs that the Graphics Card for rendering have issues on my computer, or maybe they know that my graphics card should not be used and just don't use it, with out bothering me about forcing the use off.

Like I said, I like CO7 and use it everyday. Sometimes it does get to the point where, I question my sanity for using it. I.E go do do a mask, and it "thinks" for a little bit before doing anything, so I don't know where/when it started to see the mask. It seems sometime to get "Stuck" in a mode, like the "Loop" cursor, nothing works for a while, then "pop" working again.

Some people call me to patient with things, and if I was not, I would have dropped kick CO7 and PhaseOne all over the internet for the issues with CO7.

The CO7 development team need to open up a little more, release RC/Beta versions to the public and ask for feedback, not through support cases, but email, put a 30 day poison pill in it so it stop working after a date.

I managed to resolve the problem by creating a new session... C0 7 pro is problematic to use, however even its has issues I still prefer to use it than ACR/LR because of the color and tethered feature... So at the moment I don't have any choice unless Adobe incorporate local HSL brush adjustment in ACR or LR.

Catalog system in co7 pro is pretty useless because its too slow to use.
