Batch engine updating doesn't work
Using the recommended procedure for updating the processing engine doesn't seem to work. It doesn't matter if I use cmd A or shift key or pull down menu. The files are selected but only the one I have selected is converted.
Is there something I am missing?
Select individual images (i.e., variants) or select multiples using the cmd/ctrl key (macOS/Windows), or shift key, and clicking on the relevant images.
From the Color inspector, go to the Base Characteristics tool, and click on the Upgrade icon to the right of the Engine text field.
A warning dialog opens with Upgrade Engine or Cancel options.
Click on Upgrade Engine, or press Cancel to return to editing with the existing engine.

There is a toggle that allows you process a single selected file or all of them.
How is that set when you try the process?
ALSO, are you completely convinced you want to do it?
There are some changes in the engine that, in some cases, may mean that you might want to leave things ot the V10 (or earlier) engine. That's fine, V11 will respect that and continue to work with your images.
If you want to check a few of them create a variant (clone to keep your existing edits) and convert that thne compare with the V10 version side by side.
HTH.

Thanks. Found the toggle. Its not clear from the instructions that under the edit menu you have to also select "edit all selected variants". I'm just selecting a single folder of images so I can compare results. So far nothing major for my usage. 0
