Poor quality of imported images
New user of Phase One getting on well but all of a sudden imported RAW images from my Nikon D300 are of a very low standard (bad colour balance muddy looking). Checked them in my other software (Nikon ViewNX, Capture NX2 and Photoshop) they are fine.
Has anybody any ideas as I have returned from a trip with Royal National Lifeboat Institute and have over a 100 images to process.
Is there a possibility I have accidentally changed a parameter setting in Phase One being new to the software.
Many thanks
Paul

Is the poor quality visible in CO5's viewer or does it look fine there but the output is disappointing? And another but related question: how do older images look now which looked fine in the past? 0 -
Hi Paul
Sorry I think I ave found it I believe I may have added a style without realizing it. Have now switched styles to a setting that I prefer and the images look fine. I am one of those people who likes to find out what everything does and I must have been trying styles and left it on a different setting to the one there when I installed program. What do you think?

Hi Paul,
Your explanation makes sense. Remember that Ctrl+R removes all adjustments, so in case there are any doubts or you face unexpected results. As a side note, curiosity and an urge to explore are virtues, so keep on trying. 😉0 -
