moving images from one catalogue to another catalogue

I have thousands of images in my capture one catalogue and want to establish 2 new catalogues as a way of sorting my images. How do i create a new catalogue and then move some selected images from the original catalogue to the new catalogue. I do not want the same image in more than one catalogue.

    Hey,
    I went through a process of splitting a large catalog into smaller ones. IN essence I moved images from one huge catalog to some new/smaller ones. I wrote it up here. Please take a look



    NOTE: With Capture One, you can export images to a new Catalog and only a new catalog; you cannot export images directly into an existing catalog. So it's a two step process.
