Tethered failure when PC sleep or standby?
I just did a tethered shoot with CO7, and FW800. The IQ180 has the Beta FW5.
All went fine for exactly 30 minutes, afterwards, the IQ showed that shots were being saved as usual.
Back at the PC, to my horror, I discovered the PC went to standby, and nothing was saved after that, even though the IQ180 showed saved images.
I searched in every drive of the machine and found no files after the standby.
Finally I checked the flash card and indeed it had nothing new.
This is fatal behavior of both IQ180 and CO7.
If the PC is disconnected or in standby, and images are not saved, the back MUST show a warning or signal the camera its out of space.
Has anyone else noticed that behavior?
Can P1 explain this?
Can CO somehow stop any power standby or shutdown regardless of the PC settings?
A VERY frustrated user.
Kind Regards,
Jon

Jon,
As you are using BETA firmware, I think it would be best if you got these details over to your Phase One contact as appose to search out the few other users (that may share your workflow, hardware and have the Beta firmware) on the forum.
If we can repeat the behavior, we can start to fix it before the final release of the firmware.0 -
Hello Drew! I did create a support case and also sent a note about this issue, to Ulf and Jon G.
Waiting for further info!
And happy to do more tests!
Kind Regards,
Jon0
