Counters in filters

Hello. I have one image in catalog. But the filter tool shows wrong counters. Why counter shows the number 2?

    I knew that COP7 has problems with ratings, colourtags, keywords and a problematic database design.

    I'll add filters to the list.

    Why we haven't seen a service advisory from PhaseOne on these issues is beyond me.

    I think the wrong counter value is multiplied by 2. I'm using version 7.2.1

    Do you have Variants of the same image?
    1 RAW file with 2 Variants = 2 Variants with different filter/sort criteria

    Do you have Duplicate Values in your IPTC values?

    There are many explanations for this so specifics about the files/workflow are necessary.

    If it is as complicated as that to understand what the numbers represent I for one find this feature useless.

    It would be immediately helpful, to the OP and to the rest of the user community if you would enumerate the factors determining the numbers in question.

    Just asking the OP for an undetermined amount of more information isn't.

    I do not have duplicates and variants in the catalog. I just imported the 3 photos into an empty catalog. Photos and IPTC are different.
