C1 3.7.7 only recognizes a few of the Fuji S5 Color Balance settings. I use "Fine" on the camera ("Daylight" in C1) for good, predictable results.

If you use any color balance setting that C1 does not recognize, it does an auto-white-balance, which rarely looks good.

Unfortunately we cannot test S5's in the 4.0 beta, since it does not yet support them.

    Willy & Paul,

Yes, Fuji software understands / interprets these Custom WB data from the camera much more accurately than Capture One.
Use an in-camera preset rather than a Custom WB or Auto and you will see great improvement and likely more consistent color.
Follow the methodology in the Knowledge Base / Tips&Tricks article #2233 for Good White Balance and then compare the results.

    hello Keith,

is there any chance that next release will improve white balance interpretation for Fuji cameras?

    regards,

Not only does C1 not recognize Fuji S5 Custom WB, it also does not recognize standard WB settings like "Flash".

    Thanks,
