How do I enable "System Folders"?
I have two copies of Captureone running in both my Mac and Windows, in my windows I have C1 v6 express where I can see system folders.
In my C1 v7 express I only see 'Folders', 'User Collections' and Catalog Collections ... I see no option there to enable system folders, I'm kinda lost here, can anyone help?

C1 Express V6 uses the Sessions concept which allows direct access to images in system folders.
With C1 V7 he "Catalog" feature was introduced. This requires images to be known to the catalog although the original files can be stored outside the catalog if desired. There is no direct access to the files in the system folders using the catalog concept (Afaik).
C1 V7 Express uses only the catalog concept and so you don't see the system files.
C1 V7 Pro allows use of both the catalog concept and the traditional sessions functionality and so allows either or both approaches to be employed.
Hoping this explanation helps ....

Thank you for the explanation. I guess I have two choices.. either to purchase the pro upgrade or download the v6 and use my license there..
edit: arrgh, I just realized my files won't be viewable in v60 -
For a number of reasons, not the least being compatibility with cameras released in the past 2 years, I would go with V7 and the Pro version which does offer a number of additional useful features for the price - though I fear you may have just missed the summer pricing offers ...

Yeah unfortunately =/ I've been visiting the phaseone site every now and then for discounts, sadly I missed this one. I guess I'll have to wait again.0
