What are proxies? Why are they so big? HELP
I've been testing CO4 on an image collection that WAS about 35Gb of size - containing about 10,000 images. After browsing most of them in CO4 - the folder size has EXPLODED to 57Gb in size!
After digging in I see all the CO subfolders have a proxies folder with what seem like may image previews? These are huge and are taking up wayyyy too much space.
There is absolutely no way I can sacrifice 22GB of disk space to previews - and its totally unacceptable for a software vendor to expect you to do so.
Is there any way I can change or avoid this behavior? It is a deal breaker for me (and probably thousands of other individuals)
