TIFFs larger than expected
The Tiffs generated by C1 4 are substantially larger than what previous version produces. Specifically, a 10 MPix image translates to a 69 MB Tiff file as opposed to 57 MB delivered by C1 3.7. An inspection of the Exif tags doesn't reveal any changes other than perhaps the size of the thumbnail (negligeable difference).
Since I create and archive Tiffs as the final output, this is a significant redundancy that eats out of the archive capacity. Does anyone have a clue about what accounts for the extra 12 MB in the C1 4 tiffs and perhaps how to get rid of it without going through another editor. Thanks.

Hi,
I had not noticed the increase in file size, but you are right. It applies to both 8- and 16-bits TIFFs. I saved the larger CO4 file with PS CS3 and got the smaller size back (same size now as CO3 raw conversions). No idea what causes this.0
