Best way to add old sessions w/ out the .sessions file
I have some older sessions created prior to 3.6 which do not have the .sessions file so I can not just add them as a new session once the sessions have been removed from the session list.
What is the best way to create a new session from archived files? I have in the past just created a new session, copied the capture files to the hard drive where C1 is located, dragged the capture folder I wanted to access into the session window or accessed it through the . That works but is there a better way?
I have also used the copy sessions option under creating a new session and navigated to the capture folder and assigned that as the capture folder. But I can't get the blank sessions option to work.

The above Knowledge Base article # 1346 may provide some help with this issue. It seems to me to be quite similar to the method you've already been trying, but is worth a look.

Thanks the article was helpful. I did not now that naming the session exactly as the folder name would automatically link the Capture, Process and Trash folders and create a new .session file. 0
