Question about Saved Settings
I am now using C1 Pro 4.8.2 and I have a question about saving the RAW settings.
I will explain my wedding workflow.
I create a session for the wedding images then I delete the unwanted images in C1. I then adjust the color and density for all images with the various white balance cards I expose throughout the wedding.
Page 79 of the User Guide states that these settings are saved in a subfolder called "Capture One" in the same folder as the RAW's.
Next, I close C1 Pro and open Adobe PhotoShop CS3 Bridge and I arrange the images in the sequence of the wedding day event. I wish I could arrange the images in C1 Pro. After I arrange the images in Adobe Bridge according to the sequence of the wedding I then renumber the RAW images 001 to xxx in Bridge.
The final step is to bring the re-arranged, renumbered images back into C1 Pro to process to JPEG.
When I bring the re-numbered RAW images back into C1 the previous settings appear not to be applied so I have to make the adjustments a second time.
When I was using version 3.7.8 I would save the settings to a Settings folder I created and when the re-numbered RAW file were brought back into C1 the previous settings were applied.
I hope you understand my question. I am doing something wrong with the settings?
Thanks!

Renaming an image's file name outside CO4 disconnects it from its settings file. The settings file (and the preview file too by the way but these are regenerated automatically resulting in a double amount of them) should be renamed as well. This happens automatically when you rename from within CO4.
With CO3, the connection between image and its settings file (a.k.a. work file) was not file name related. A unique feature perhaps, but impossible to connect both at file level.
I suggest to do the renaming in CO4 or process in CO4 and start the ordering and renaming process in Bridge on the processed (JPEG) files.0 -
