Extra pixels added or removed from default image size
So I use a Nikon D5200 which has a 6000x4000 resolution. I can see in camera that my images are this size and when importing in to Lightroom, I also get 6000x4000 photos. However when I import in to Capture one using the import tool, my images seem to become 6016x4000. I am baffled by where the 16 extra pixels come from. When exporting an image it also comes out to 6016x4000. If I change the size of the exported image to be 6000x4000 pixels, I end up with an image that is 6000x3989 pixels. I have not changed any import or processing settings. Can anyone explain why this is happening or how to fix it so my images stay a perfect 3:2 ratio? I am afraid that at some point, this could throw a crop or printer off if too much is added or taken away. It also just bothers me that it is no longer a perfect ratio. Thanks for any and all help.

Is there a default lens profile being added? Do you have Crop Outside Image checked within the Crop tool? 0
