Can I move the cache in 4.6.1?
Hi
We're testing out the 4.6.1 30 day demo to see if it will do what we need and I've noticed that the cache is stored where the raw photo files are. We have 3.7.7 and were able to set the preview cache to wherever we wanted. I've read through some posts on here and from them it seems like there is no way to move the cache from the captureone folder generated with the raw files for 4.6.1? I just want to check that I've pieced that together right. It would be great if I have it wrong - our photos are on a central server and running the previews through the server slows things down substantially.
Thanks!
Sue

You are correct that you can't relocate the cache with previews/thumbnails in CO 4.x. 0 -

... but will this ever be possible with later releases? It is such a major problem for so many people! I for one will not upgrade to 4.x if it is not addressed, but would be prepared to pay to upgrade to the PRO version if it was only fixed in that version and not the 'lite' version.
If it is not fixed, and I need to get a new camera whose RAW is not supported by 3.7.7 I will just have to ditch CO completely and use someone else's software.0
