Error Processing.
Hey guys, I just moved in back to Windows since I'm tired of carrying all day my Macbook Pro to the office so I got a new PC over here.
Now, i have a little problem when I'm exporting pictures in CaptureOne.
Everytime i make my settings, or even if I select a Process Recipe, it tells me:
Cannot process the current selection. Only editable, online variants can be processed with the selected recipe(s).
Please select variants that can be processed, or use a recipe based on the Quickproof format.
I have to mention that: I've reinstalled my Capture One ( didn't work processing after this), then I copied the photo to another place, importing it in CaptureOne and still, processing didn't work.
I found some similar problems here but noone came with an answer that would work for me. Thanks a lot.

It sounds as though the raw files are in a location that is not accessible (perhaps a network drive that isn't connected?). Most of the time Capture One can let you do adjustments etc without having access to the original raw files, based on the previews it creates when they are imported. But to apply those adjustments and create output, it needs access to the raws.

In your browser bar thumbs, do you see any additional symbols? Like a crossed out pencil or a question mark?
In your library, do you have folders with exclamations marks?

@HansB: Nop, not any additional symbol, nothing like that.
@Ian3: They are accesible, not readonly or locked or something. I tried with a lot of pictures.
I forgot to mention that I can t even make adjustments.. like exposurie, level, curves or anything.0 -
So tell us more about the situation, then. Clearly if you can't even do things like adjust exposure there is something different going on.
Are you working in a session or a catalogue? If a catalogue, referenced or managed? Where are the files located? Where is your catalogue located, if you are using one?
Are the files raw files, if so from what camera? If they are not raw files, do you have the boxes checked in preferences to allow editing of JPG, TIFF and PNG files?

I m working on a catalogue. Refernced or managed, hmm how do I figure it out?
They are located in my internal HDD. The cataloge is located in the same HDD.
The picture is a TIFF, from a CANON 5D MK III . Where can i see the boxes to allow me of editing JPG/TIFF ? Btw, I imported a jpg picture from the other internal HDD, same thing as with the tiff. thanks .0 -
Tiff, jpeg and png editing can be enabled/disabled in 'Preferences' - 'Image' - 'Editing'.
But you should see a crossed out pencil on the browser bar thumb when disabled.
Managed catalog: images inside the catalog. Access only with CO.
Referenced catalog: images in a separate folder structure. Access with any software.

It does sound as though the preferences setting is your problem.
I use a Mac, not Windows, but it appears that the way to preferences under Windows is Edit > Preferences. The ones you want are on the Image tab in preferences (third tab from the left).
A referenced catalogue keeps the images in their existing location and the catalogue database just keeps a record of where they are. A managed catalogue stores the images within the Capture One database, instead of leaving them in their original location.

So, i think we found the problem.
The EDITING at IMAGE Prefernces is not "editable".

What license are you using? DB, Express, Pro? There may be some limitations...

On MAC it works perfectly same license. But I think there is a problem i didn t think of.
When i instaleld Capture One yesterday, it never asked for account/password.
EDIT: Where can i pick the License and where can I login into the application ?0 -
Sorry, I don't know where to find it in Windows. I never really used CO on this OS.

Capture One 9 > License… ? 0 -
Case solved. The only problem was that License was not picked, it was a like a "look and see if u want it" smth like that. Thanks guys.
It can be locked now. ty0
