Uninstall .NET Fx 4 from Control Panel. Next, start Windows Update, do a Custom update and select .NET Fx 4 again from the list.

You're a smart one, Paul. I did exactly that and 6.2 is humming along like a Swiss watch.

    Thanks.

I had the .net-problem but solved it by installing the correct version... 🤭 Should never upgrade in a hurry...

My watch keeps saying it wants .net v4 installed. I have tried every version I can find but no help? Can't access C1 so that I could de-activate and re-install. Any ideas?

Can you provide more details. You're post is a bit cryptic to me. What happens when? What have you done so far?

Hello I have the same problem. Please can anybody give me a good information what to do? What is the correct version of the .NETFramework software? I have also reinstalled .NETFramewok, but still 6.2 is not starting.
    Thank You for your help!

What information do you need that is not in this thread, or in this post:
    viewtopic.php?p=46201#p46201
    or in the release notes?

The full version mentioned in the post Paul pointed to ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... 1f31ab88b7 ) solved my problem. For some reason the version Windows Update suggested didn't work for me.

I had the correct version per Paul's recommendation, but the program wouldn't launch
until I uninstalled and reinstalled .NET. Go figure.

Bottomline to fix .NET Framework 4 issues, due to potential incomplete or corrupted state, seems to be:
    - uninstall .NET Fx 4 from Control Panel (both Client Profile and Extended part)
    - download the full standalone installer from Microsoft download page (select your language from that page)
    - install .NET Fx 4 from the downloaded installer

Windows Update seems to be not sufficiently thorough in repairing as the standalone installer is (note: from my experience as Windows system administrator, I tend to work with these full installers in general and for a reason).

    Thanks all for the feedback.

    Hello Paul and Janne1:
I did exactly what Paul said in his post. I completeley disinstalled .NET Fx4 and reinstalled the the full version....
and the software launched. So thanks a lot for your help!

Did the upgrade to my main computer. I first installed the complete .net package and upgraded C1 after that. Worked perfectly.
