C1 4.6.1 w/ 5d MkII tethered (sraw1) + process add layer
Hi there!
I am testing my C1 4.6.1 Pro and it just doesn't work like a charm with sraw1/2 files (hot directory enabled) (shot tethered with eos utility on osx 10.5)
It constantly crashes and exits the app.
Just RAW works better, and a nice detail; with Aperture the image is blurry compared to C1 , congrats! (LRoom works also fine with detail but I do like C1 better!)
Is tethered support coming for the 5d mk ii ? this should ease the workflow a bit too (and auto rotate portrait photo's)
I also would like an option in the batch/process flow to add text or an image (psd/jpg/gif/png) to a corner of the image (corporate logo or text like; unedited version)

Not sure whether this is affecting performance and stability but are you using firmware 1.0.7 (instead of 1.0.6) in your 5D Mk II?
Canon stated that the newer 1.0.7 affects sRAW files and an update of CO 4 is (probably) pending.0 -

I am using fw. 1.07 first thing it came out of the box 😉
Let's hope some of these issues are resolved. It would sweeten the workflow a lot 😊0
