D800E not found by Capture One 8
Hi,
I try to use Capture One 8 for tethered shooting with a Nikon D800E.
The camera is connected to an iMac (Mavericks).
The connection works - Nikons Camera Control Pro 2 is fully functional.
But Capture One 8 doesn't recognize the camera at all.
Do I need still anything, or do I make any mistake ?
I would be glad about some help.
Regards, Hago

Did you close Camera Control before starting CO8? If you, CC is using the connection to the camera, and CO8 is not able to connect. 0 -
If that's not the case, try going to CaptureOne Preferences, enable Nikon as a provider and disable all others. It'll warn you to restart CaptureOne, but this worked for me.
Also be sure that Image Capture is not running; set the default for the D800E to open No Application.0 -
Hi,
I found the mistake in the meanwhile.
The test-version of CaptureOnePro8 opens with the license for the standard cameras.
I had to disable the license, restart the program and then it asked me if I want to test or buy.
Now it works properly.
Thank you for your answers.
