Keywords
New to Capture One Pro and set up a test catalog to try out all the features.
I am now ready to go " Live " and have a created a new catalog that has no images.
However, upon creation it has carried over my keywords, obviously all with zero images allocated.
I want to start over with a more structured approach with more relevant keywords but cannot find a way of deleting this carried over list, which I no longer require.
So, my question is : How do I delete keywords that have no allocated images from the list in Library>Filters>Keywords ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Jeff

there is no way, there is no keywords-list-file or something, keywords that haven't been assigned, don't and can't exist in C1 0 -
Keywords are saved in the Preference File.
It's not elegant but we can show you where/how to edit it through a support case.0 -

hi Drew, really?, why are you not doing it official, that will help lots of people, in my case, I have to go through PM.

You're also welcome to create a support case and share any findings you have. 😉0 -

Me too have open a support case (to ask the same solution and to suggest developers to work on it); while waiting the official answer ... daniel can you share your findings to all of us! thanks, roberto0 -
Hi,
Keywords in Preference File is very bad and brings with it many problems. Is there a Plan that the keywords are shifted into the database?0 -
Hi
I also put keywords with PM0 -
Hi,
of course you can do that. But this is not a solution but a workaround. The keywords should be stored in the database and not in a config file0
