I am in the same boat, want to make a camera profile with the ColorChecker SG card and ProfileMaker and CO4.x. No experience yet here.
To Mauro (or others): have you done this with CO3.x in the past? How were your settings there?

If the old "no color correction" profile is installed on your system you should find it.
Switch profile dialogue from "show only recommended" to "show all" and go to "other".

    For profiling:
    - set profile "no color correction"
    - set film curve "linear response"
    - set "embed camera profile"
    - set "disable sharpening" at output
    - set tif, 16bit
(and make sure that all adjustments are resettet except of white balance for you target shot)

In this web page I found instructions for CO3.x:

    Thomas,
profile "no-color-correction" is not installed on the system, but in the package content of Capture One.

However (strangely enough) the profile is not listed in Base Characteristics > ICC Profile (neither in Effects nor in Others).

Anyway I founded that the new profile Effects > Color View is exactly the same as the old no-color-correction profile (I think it was only renamed).

So maybe these are the steps for profiling
    - set profile "Effects > Color View"
    - set film curve "linear response"
    - set "embed camera profile"
    - set "disable sharpening" at output
    - set tif, 16bit

    Thank you.

    Mauro
