What procedure are you using to import the files?

Capture One will not usually import images (of any kind) from a camera if you just connect the camera to the computer with a cable. (It thinks that connecting with a cable is for tethered capture.) You can import images by either (1) inserting the card from the camera into a card reader or a suitable slot in the computer if it has one, or (2) connect with a cable and transfer the images to the computer into a suitable folder and then get Capture One to import from that folder.

(I think (1) is easiest, but you may have a different preference.)

That's not my experience at all. If I connect my camera to my computer, Capture One automatically opens the Import dialog.

Now I tried to import fotos from a folder on my desktop but capture only shows 1 foto - although there are 9 fotos in the folder. (all the same file format: JPG) What are captures criterias? And how can I import the other 8 fotos?

I believe that this only works with a few cameras, which is why I used the word "usually". For most cameras, it won't import like that.

Are they all the same size? I think that C1 won't handle very small images (from memory something like smaller than 520 pixels on the shortest edge.

Yes, they have the same og bigger size.

I am using Windows 10 - are there any problems with this system? I found other problems like: when trying to import to a catalogue, there is no "import all" button - as shown in the (super) video-tutorials.

Are there tutorials for windows -user?

    thanks for your help

Most things should be mainly the same as the tutorials. Some details might be different but nothing much in the functionality discussed here as far as I can recall.

I would suggest that you create a Support Case to see if the team are aware of anything specifically problematic with your C1 Version/Windows Version and possibly Country/Language specific issues.
