Culling images from within Media Pro

I have my images in Capture One organised in Sessions. If I review images in Media Pro and decide that some of them are worthy of deletion, is it safe to use the delete feature in Media Pro, or will that upset Capture One because images that used to be in the session have disappeared? (The alternative seems to be to go to the Session in Capture One, delete them there, then go back to Media Pro and then find and remove missing files, which is more long-winded.)

    It will upset C1 so best done in C1. Media Pro will track the deletion as C1 moves it to the session trash. I usually leave them in the session trash until I archive the session then delete the session trash in C1 and remove the trash folder from the Media Pro catalogue.
