Activation 5.x
I get a timeout error when trying to activate Capture One Version 5. I have disabled the firewall, allowed popups and disabled the virus checker- to no avail. What now?

Our sites been up and down a bit today. Please try it again, if you get the same error there may be additional settings that need attention in your firewall or browser. 0 -
I tried again - but no luck. Also it seems one cannot create a support case without activation ??
I previously used version 3LE but deregistered as I thought this could be a problem - this also did not help.0 -

Nope, you can definitly create a support case without activating the software, or even having the software installed on the computer...you do need an established account, and your password for that might be different from the one used on this forum...the FAQs under support are fairly clear..but you might have registered under a prior e-mail address....
Be sure and include license numbers...and checking your license account after logging in might provide you with the info you need to activate...if you have upgraded, the initial license code is superceeded by the upgrade license code, even for the prior version...hope that helps...0 -
I can log in, see my account, but when I try to create a support case it says that no product is registered in my name. When I try to register a product the only options are hardware options. 0 -
Mike,
A support case has been opened with your account on the front end. Everything works as it should.
Please log into your account, select "Contact Support" and then click the small button on the bottom left of the form entitled "My Cases".0
