I just upgraded to Capture One 10.1.2 in my laptop running OS 10.11.6
For some reason all images I send to the trash folder, show the "not writable" icon (Pencil with a line across it).
I reinstalled , clean preferences, etc and got same result in two different laptops.
Is this a new C1Pro 10 thing ? or am I missing something here?

I'm starting to notice various bits of SW that do not allow editting of items which are in the trash. I see that behaviour in bothe OSX and in Aperture.

I think its a good rule.If you let the user edit stuff in the trash, his work immediately diappears the next time he empties the trash.

Try moving one of the items out of the trash, and see if they can tthen be editted.

Eric, do you use Capture One 10? and if yes, do the files in the trash folder have the "not writable" icon?
I don't think it is a bad idea if Phase added this icon to files so that users do not edit them, I just want to know if this behavior is normal.

    Hi Matador
Yes, I'm currently using COP 10.1.2 on OSX 10.1.6, and I see that the images I put in my catalog trash last night are marked not editable with the crossed pencil symbol.
However, I recall that they were editable before I put them in the trash.
