Dealing with mixed lighting ?
Is there anyway to locally adjust light contaminated areas of a photograph with C1. In LR you can adjust WB locally or add a color overlay locally. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a way to do this in C1, unless I am missing something. Occasionally I will get some images that are taken with flash but also have tungsten/ambient spill that needs to be cleaned up. It's a easy process in LR so I'm hoping I am overlooking something. The advanced color editor doesn't give enough Hue rotation to counter the color, unless I'm going about that wrong too. 😕

No there is no global WB setting in the local adjustments of C1 but I sure wish there was. For mixed tungsten/flash interiors I usually do one of two things.
1. WB for the flash temp and use a local adjustment to desaturate the yellow of the tungsten sources.
Or
2. Clone the variant and WB one to flash and the other to tungsten. Process both and blend the layers in Photoshop to the required balance.0 -
I do what Gareth described in #2, but would really love to have WB included in local adjustments. I was really hoping that C1 was going to have this included in v7. Hopefully they can add it in the next incremental release....can't be that hard to add. 0 -

I use the same two procedures.0 -
Avoiding PS for such simple tasks like this would definitely be ideal. Switching software to edit photos just slows down production for me. Lets hope it's included in the next update! 0 -

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels white balance adjustments should be able to be done locally. I thought maybe I was being nit picky. 0 -

I really hope this comes out with the v7.1 update. 0 -
