I had to re-install 7.2 after multiple crashes on 7.2.2. And when 7.2.2 didn't crashed it refused to process more than 5 photos in a row.

7.2 works. 7.2.2 does not work.

I suggest you open a support case and provide details as requested like logs and system profiles. It could be the program or your setup.

If you're having issues with stability, create a support case.

Did you try a clean uninstall before a re-installation? If not, see article ID 2124 in the knowledge base on the Phase One web site.

I installed version 7.2 without uninstalling 7.2.2. 7.2 works fine now.

    I too am having problems.
I have a different photo selected in the browser, another showing in the main screen area, and another in the navigator.
It just hangs there and I can't do a thing.
    Clean install.
    Win 7 64
    6gig ram
    i7 3612qm latptop is about 2yrs old.
Wasn't the quickest with Lightroom 5.4, but quite fine.
    Unusable with C1pro.

All I can add again is that it is very stable for me in the sessions mode.

Have you tried resetting your preferences for "OpenCL" to Never?

Have you created a Support Case?

Are you using a Catalogue or Session when this lock up happens?

I use sessions and I have experienced similar symptoms just once, about a year ago. I could work with the session for a while but then, sometimes, the system would lock up. Eventually I noticed that one of the Preview files in the session (about 1100 files in total as I recall) was 'bad'. I forced a regeneration of the preview but it made no difference. So I deleted the edit for that image on the basis that the edit instructions file was likely to be corrupt in some way for some reason. That fixed the problem for the entire session. I assume that the cause was the file corruption that resulted in bad links within the session master file. Deleting the file removed the bad internal indexing.

That is the only problem of note that I have seen in my time using C1 V7. The glitch has never occurred in any subsequent session or recurred in the original session.

You just might be experiencing something similar.

Either way I would create a Support Case and provide details to the Support Team.

    HTH.
