Images started to turn green and loses .cos data

i have downloaded the trial version for capture one 7.

It worked fine up to Dec 23, 2012. Now that I start back on working on the files again, all the images turned GREEN.
i checked the setting70 folder and to my surprise, the .cos files contains nothing. (opened it in texedit) ...

The old .cos file appended a .obsolete extension and no matter if you bring it back, it will not read it.

Unfortunately the support has not been helpful.
