Can't get to some images.
I am using version 12 with Mac Catalina and a catalog. I have several folders on the left containing images. For example, one is C! landscapes. It shows 63 images. When I click on it the viewer on the right shows the 63 images. That behavior is the same on all my other folders except one.
The "bad" folder is Birds. It did work fine till today. It contains 299 images. The viewer on the right, however, does not show any of them. If I right click on the folder and go to show in finder there are the 299 images on my hard drive.
But why aren't they showing in the viewer and how can I get them to show?
TIA.
Allan

Hi Allan,
Did you try to right-click on the folder and "synchronize" it ?
Robert0 -
I did but synchronize doesn't do anything.
I do have something else to add though. I have some other folders that are currently empty. WHen I click on them I get no images in collection. In this "bad" one, however, the viewer says no results for '5646'0 -
Have you got any filters applied? 0 -
Hi Allan,
Grant (SFA) is right : you should have a filter with " 5646 " applied. Clear it and tell us how it goes.

That was not the case. I had no filter. I finally semi-solved the problem by creating a new folder and then copying from the finder all images into this new one. WHen I imported the images I lost my settings but all the files appeared as they should.
I did not lose that much as I am new to C1 and have only been doing basic adjustments on the raw images which I can easily create if needed. The exported variants (tiff) are all fine.0 -
OK Allan, but where does this " 5646 " come from ? Usually, when I get an answer such as "No results for xxxx", it means that I have a filter applied, and this could be seen as a the three dots turning orange in the filter field.
Anyway, most important is that you solved your problem !!0 -
No idea where that number came from but problem solved. Thanks for your replies. 0 -
Hi,
Sorry for jumping here..... I am looking to understand how I can Synchronize folders. I added a couple folders on my hard drive under the year 2019 in folder explorer. I go in Capture One 12, library, find the folder 2019, right click on Synchronize folders. I see a window pop up "Synchronize "2019" with changes made on disk.
Check Include know subfolders
Check Import 20 new images
Check Show impoter.
Then I click on Sync.
A Import Images window pops up.
Import from.... Source
Import to .... Current Location
I click on Import All
And I see no new images under "2019" ???
I hope this is okay to post here, as I am on a Window machine?????0
