Auto-levels

Does auto-levels adjust per channel, or just the RGB composite?
If the composite, is there a way to get it to do it per channel instead?

Auto-levels works on the RGB composite, not on individual channels. There is no way to make that happen (as far as I know).

A Mac only option, Christian?
