and another update, so I force quit C1 , and then shut down and restart my mac. It boots back up, I relaunch C1 pro, and it starts back off on the last folder I was having problems with, and starts all over again, loads 5 previews, hangs up, then for the next 10 minutes will freeze or beach ball, and then eventually spits out an event log saying it could not generate any previews. SO now the program is as useless to me as tits on a bull, since i cant even switch folders or get into anythign else. This is lovely, when I am trying to finish a job. SO now what, do I have to dump and reinstall? do I have to chuck plists? What hoops am I going to have to jump through to use your program now? Im really getting fed up. sorry for the rant'
The last session is stored in the preference file (plist file). If you remove that file, the program will either ask for which session to open or choose the default session. You can also delete the session file of the session that hangs the application.0 -
I actually did a clean remove and reinstall, it did it again, I went in and found a few corrupt files in that folder which may have been why it was hanging up, so it seems to be able to load the folder now. That was my bad, have no clue how those got in there, they wer blank duplicates of raw files with nothing in them. 0 -
Ok, seems to be back on track, still a bit choppy, but not like before. I apologize for coming off so harsh, but this seems to be a pretty sensitive piece of software for sure. but it looks like those files were the culprit 0 -
Thanks for the feedback and good to hear you're back on track. I assumed it was a corrupt image file (or more than one). CO can be pretty sensitive to this indeed bringing you into a catch 22 loop. 0
