Can't rename files stored on NAS
I am a new user of Capture One Pro so not sure if this an old problem.
I cannot rename files stored on a NAS. I receive an unknown error message dialog box.
Same problem with both batch rename and single files.
Works perfectly on locally connected drives.

Could it be a permissions issue? 0 -
Hi Paul,
File renaming works perfectly in all other software including Lightroom.0 -
Ok, but let's check what Capture One thinks…
In the Library tool, Action menu (small triangle right), Show Info.
In the Info pane, check the permission status. Should be read & write.0 -
Permissions: All
I did try mounting the NAS share as a windows mapped drive letter and renaming works perfectly.
I tend not to map my shares but instead access the share directly with the UNC path
\\NASRAID2\photos0 -
There is a known bug with UNC path in CO 7.1.4. Are you on 7.1.5 already? 0 -
Yes I am running v7.1.5 0 -

I suggest you report to Phase One in a support case.0 -
Yes I am in the middle of a support call now.
Will report back any useful information.
All the best, Ian0 -
Quick update on this ongoing rename problem.
Problem still exists in v7.1.6 and has now been recognised by support as a bug.0
