Star ratings keep automatically changing.

Hi there,

I'm having a problem with star ratings - they keep changing just a few seconds after i apply them, e.g. I give an image 4 stars and within a couple of seconds it automatically changes to 2 stars.

I am currently transferring from LR so and unfortunately my images are all DNG - not ideal i know; but C1 9 seems to do a good job of rendering them (I'll be keeping .CR2 from now on). So I don't know if this is a problem with the use of DNGs or not.

In preferences, I have full XMP autosync and the two boxes below switched on. Maybe this is the problem - does C1 automatically write metadata to DNGs like LR? Also colour labels and ratings from Photo Mechanic are not being reflected in C1.

Any ideas are much appreciated!

This is a bug with the XMP auto sync. You need to turn it off for now.
It also resets colors (and probably tags too).

I already opened a bug report with PhaseOne about this. this is a bug that was present in, I think, Version 7 too.
