Confused....Where is the official response?
I can't find any official replies from PhaseOne....Are they just ignoring it, pretending it doesn't exist or did I miss the official response? This is horrible.
I know on person suggested removing all other versions, but there is no way I want to remove the only version that works....
I'll be patient and wait for a updated version that works on Windows 7 64bit, but I want to hear it's on the way.
Just for the record....
Intel i7-2600k 3.4GHz
Asus P8Z77-V Pro
16gb Ram
GTX 560 Ti graphics with updated drivers.
Nothing working as it should...
Lag in rendering preview when moving through images
Lag when making any adjustment
An absolutely unusable program. Oh, and is there any truth to the comment about CaptureOne 7 being limited to somewhere around 400 images? Obviously this is not the case, but is there truth that this was said?

Not to make light of what you are experiencing, but C1 V7 works very nicely on my Windows 7 PC. I have both version 6 and 7 installed and have no significant issues with version 7. It is a bit less stable than version 6, but performance wise it is a step up. You are not the only one with performance issues and it reminds me of the similar problems Lightroom 4 users experienced when it first came out. Lightroom 4 was fine for some and frustratingly slow for others on similar platforms. I never heard what the solution was but by version 4.2 it seemed to be resolved. Hopefully that will be the case here since I believe version 7 is a real improvement over version 6. My PC is running the Intel i7-960, GTX-570 and 12 gb memory, so it is less capable than yours. 0 -

I feel exactly same. I think PO is in denial mode about all problems users meet and their support case system works in hiding mode by preventing other users (experiencing same problem) from seeing and maybe benefiting found (if any) solution.

I feel exactly same.
I think the biggest mistake a Company can make is not talking to the customers. Especially in times when there are problems.
Of course there will come an Update the fixes Problems. But when will it come? Tomorrow, in two weeks, next year?
Customerservice is a word which apparently doesn't exist at PhaseOne. It's a shame and so needless.0 -

I believe this is unfounded comment.
We talk to all customers and have response times during opening hours that is counted in minutes.
If anyone wants to contact us, then I am encouraging you to contact us here http://www.phaseone.com/en/SupportMain.aspx -> Click on "Contact Support"
No support case goes unanswered.
For hardware (Phase One and Leaf camera backs and cameras) owners there is also phone support.
For future reference, read the forum rules before posting.0 -
Hy Ulf,
sorry for this hard words, but why needs it this hard words to get somone of PhaseOne to write here?
I have not meant the Supportcases of every customer who is contacting you individually.
When I read here and in other Forums apparently there a many problems with C1, many peoply are dissatified and from PhaseOne comes no official statement, which all the people are waiting for.0 -

Thanks Ulf for taking the time to read the thread.....
Just need to know what the story is. From how it sounds, you are suggesting that if we contact phaseone support that you will find a solution for the issues? If this is the case, fantastic. Is this the official response?
Here's the thing. I've been using Capture One since May of 2004, and I sing it's praises. I use Capture One 6, and it works flawlessly. I have NO problem in continuing to use it, but I do like new shiny things. I know that back in the day, we had some issues with earlier versions running on C1, and they were handled the same way....We had to wait for the next version to get things resolved. I'm saying, if that is what you are choosing to do here, then cool. I'll be happy with C1-6 until then.
You make the best product in the world....It's just that the current version does not run properly on Windows7 64 at the moment.0 -
Hi,
This may not solve it for you but I reply as my system is very similar to yours
i7 920 o/c at 3.7Ghz P8Z77-V LX 16 gb ram MSI GTX560ti 1Gb ram
Windows 7 pro sp1
At first I could not use opencl in either process or display (275.33 driver)
Installed 306.97-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql driver - instant cure all working fine
I rarely develop / process more than 25-50 shots at once - only a few at once using the trial of v7
Ver6 still working fully installed. Have not converted any images to ver 7. and I only use sessions, a single "capture one session" in both versions.

This is a user to user forum.
We focus on assisting clients that do contact us directly with specific issues or specific questions.
To have a user forum where user assist each other is something I believe is a very positive thing.
Of course this is something that can be used and abused. This is why we set some rules which should be obliged.
When it come to this tread and the issue at hand, there is a sticky top most which has the solution.
This solution worked for Raymond4 and for many many others.
But this may not work for everyone. And especially on Windows due to the diversity in hardware combinations. Troubleshooting may be a slightly longer processes where it is much easier to handle this in a support case due to option we have such as file exchange and possible screen sharing session.0 -
Thanks for taking the time to respond....I did not see the sticky post, as I do not have issues described. I simply have extremely slow response time with any and all actions.
This is all I was looking for...Just a simple response that says the issues are know and being worked on. That I'm not crazy or did something wrong. I can now happily use my current 6.x version and wait for an update to purchase 7.x
Thanks!0
