Sharpening problem

Does anyone know why the sharpen tool in Focus is not working in the Capture 1 version 3.7.6 LE. Or am I doing something wrong? It is already ticked but it is grey and inactive. The noise parameters below, however, work.

    Hi-
    Make sure you are looking at a supported RAW file.
    for example; on a jpeg the sliders will slide although tool is not working.

    I am looking at a DNG file and I believe Capture One does have support for this Leica Raw format. The Sharpen tool works on version 3.7.7 Pro, but not on the previous ones. Thanks for your time.
