Import in new session folder
Does Capture One propose, as default, the last session created as import folder, so that when I insert my memory card I don't always have to indicate and choose where I want my photos to be imported.
Or maybe I am missing something!
Thanks for any help.

Capture One normally opens in the last session (or catalog) you were using. If you then import more images, it will import them to that session (or catalog). If you want to import images into a new session, first create the new session, then do the import.

Maybe I am not explaining myself properly.
The problem is, when I create a new session I want CO to propose it (the session I have just created) as the import folder, not the last session I have used, as CO does!.0 -

What you say you want is what C1 should in fact do. So you create a new session. Let's say you call it 2017M Christmas. C1 should create a folder called 2017M Christmas with subfolders called
>Capture
>Output
>Selects
>Trash
The Capture subfolder should be the one that C1 will import to for that session. In the Import dialog box there is an Import To section with a Destination dropdown menu. Normally that will say Capture Folder (and you don't have to do anything) and below that it should show the path for the folder in question. In my current session that says
/Users/ianwilson/Pictures/2017H South Africa/Capture
If it doesn't do that, check that the drop down says Capture Folder and check in System Folders section of Library tab that the folder it should be is in fact set as the Capture Folder. (If it is, it will show as having little camera icon next to it. If it isn't, you can right-click the folder and choose to set it as the capture folder.) In general if you have it working right, you should never have to worry about it.

This is what I always do, but most of the time it proposes the session I used before. I have tested on my home MacBook, it seems to be fine. We'll see tomorrow at work,, with a different machine.
Thanks for your time anyway!

I finally found the reason. All I had to do was to reset the IMPORT TO menu!
Thanks,
