I have the same problem.  I can browse for Photoshop and use it but then when I edit again it is gone.

For sure I can browse but that is extra work, before 13.1.1 I had most not all but most of them now I only have one. I created a ticket 4 months ago and still to this day it has not been fixed. Support says its a file association issue but why then when I updated to 13.1.1 these plugins disappear?

These are the only plugins I have. You should file a ticket as well.

I am also facing the same issue. When i manually try to select the plugin it does allow me to select the plugin (nik collection) and creates the TIFF file but at the time to launching the software if fails with a warning (screenshot attached)

    I just updated to 13.1.1

New user here.  I upgraded to 13.1 as well and lost all the plugins except one after I had just associated them with the prev version.  The OS didnt change, Capture One changed.

I get they recognize its a bug. But surely this isnt a hard one to track down.  This should have been caught in internal testing before the release.  I guess the next release is already closed for fixes if they cant add it now.  But makes me wonder how much testing they are doing before a release.  This is my first release since moving to c1.

Yes it is a major bug for workflow and this product is not inexpensive. When I decided to leave lightroom I expected the workflow with plugins would better my workflow like other photo editors do with plugins in that they just work. I have a small photo business which is already been hit hard and to make my workflow harder just adds to it.

I got a reply from technical support and they wanted me to do a full uninstall of Capture One including all the hidden files. Then they wanted me to install 13.1.1 again.

A friend recommended downgrading a version.  I was able to find 13.1.0 in the trash bin.  I installed 13.1.0 and this works again.  I am able to use Photoshop and other external editors.  Yeah!!!

    Hi,

They have to admit once and for all that the method they use to manage external editors is a dead end. This has been widely commented since years but they insist on using the registry scanning method which cannot work. It will always be buggy. The proof of this is that this system has never been working correctly from the beginning. Each "fix" brings a new bug.

Mark, I use Qimage Ultimate too.  Try this:

    1. Exit from all programs.

    2. Put a TIF image on the desktop.  (small image)

    3. Right-click on the TIF image

    4. Select Open with

    5. Go to C: Program Files (x86) > Q-Image-U > Qimage.exe

    6. Open the TIF file in Qimage then closeout

    7. Go back to Capture One and see if Q-Image shows up.

Thanks Richard that worked!, it showed up on 13.1.0 however 13.1.1 kills everything so they need to rethink this whole plugin thing.
