CO20 very slow after latest update

After the most recent update every time I click on a tool/brush or even menu item, even preferences the little beachball shows up and I have to wait about 10-15 seconds for the software to "catch up"

Anyone having this issue?

OpenCL to auto and 2019 maxed out Imac.

    I have the exact same issue! Performance was perfect before this latest release. I've checked my settings and everything is the same.

    Yes, it was already slow after 13.0/13.1, but this has become even worse.

    Since 13.1 masking has become painful.  I can never be sure when the brush is going to work.  When I first start masking an image, the brush is fairly responsive but then it becomes erratic.  Some times there is a several second lag between brush strokes and appearing on the image and at other times nothing happens (the brush stokes do not appear on the screen) and then suddenly it begins to work again, but the missing brush strokes never appear.

    Same symptom for the Heal arrow.

    Sometimes it shows, sometimes not. Very annoying..
