7.1.4 Strange keyword happenings
When I type into Headline it deletes "Title". When I replace Title, it deletes description. When I replace the description it deletes Headline. It's got me dizzy 😭
Anyone else experiencing this?
Cheers.
C1 Pro, using sessions, Mac OSX Mountain Lion, Tiff files.
Edit. I have just tried keywording on the same version on my MacBook Air and the same thing happens on that. Is there anyway to go back to 7.1.3? I have 300 files to keyword today an this is impossible to use at the moment.
edit 2.
Also notice that when you go to copy Metadata the adjustments panel no longer places ticks in the boxes that have data in them.

I see similar issues too. I had issues with date filters also so something is awry. 0 -
I have a similar issue. Some problem with the sidecar files. It constantly reloads the sidecar files and overwrites what you set in them. Had to turn them off. Very bad. 0 -
I had similar issues with sidecars too. Every time I started CO my hard drive went berserk and the photo count in the catalog would slowly climb from zero. I had to switch them off. 0 -
Me too. Metadata kept on reverting to old values like crazy when I tried to edit.
I turned off Auto sync in Preferences/Metadata .
CO 7.1.4 DB, Snow Leopard.0 -
I have the same issues – but they only started with the latest OSX update, 10.8.5. Up to and including 10.8.4, no issues at all.
Weird.

It could be that 10.8.5 introduced some major problems.
I have issues with 10.8.5 that have nothing to do with C1 at all. Worst OS update I ever had.0 -
I’ll open a support case once I can replicate the problem. Thankfully, there’s a couple of Macs standing around all over the place …
Edit: Okay, was able to reproduce it – on all Macs, XMP sidecars are ignored by Capture One, even those sidecars CO itself creates. Apple must have changed something on a HFS+ level, or, perhaps, added some weirdo security feature with 10.8.5. Support case submitted.0 -
That was fast … Phase One suggested I tried out 7.1.3 in combination with OSX 10.8.5, and lo and behold, no metadata problems at all.
Hope this helps,
-Sascha0
