Delete Images on Hard Drive

Hi,

I am completely new to C1 😊

I am trying to delete images inside my catalog but I would like that they will be deleted also from my hard drive.
The only option that I get when I delete an image is to remove it from the album but the original file is not deleted from the hd.

Is there an option to do that?

  When you click 'delete', you have to check the 'delete' box, not the 'remove reference' box.
  That will remove the image from HD.

  When accessing an image via an Album you only get the options "Remove from collection" and "Cancel".
  
  To get the actual "Delete" option for an image file you have to access it from a Catalog Collection such as "All Images" or one of the folders under "Recent Imports"; or from one of the folders in the "Folders" section of the LIBRARY tool.

  thank you for your replies, would be nice to have this function inside the albums so you do not have to look where the images are in the reference folders to delete them
