How do you know the values for lens correction?
Hi,
In other applications I see automatic lens correction, but in Capture One you have to adjust the value.
I'm talking about: Distortion, Sharpness, Light Falloff and Purple Fringing.
Hardly noticing any change on dual calibrated Eizo monitors zoomed in and out.
Why is that and how do you know how much value to set?
Regards and thanks,
David

Whether you have to do it by hand depends on whether you are using a supported lens. If you are, then Capture One should make the adjustments automatically.

C1 applies lens correction (if not turned off) where Phase have undertaken a laboratory lens test themselves or where the manufacturer supplies the data from the lens via the body.
The Lens Adjustment tool is there should you wish to make your own adjustments or when using a lens that has no preset values available from elsewhere.
Things get more interesting with Movements relating to T&S lenses or technical cameras using digital backs.
Have you read the tool related help?
I don't think I can add anything to that.

Thanks both! But I can't find anything about Sharpness in the lens correction panel. 0 -
